The Pasadena Navy League participate in Pasadena's official Memorial Day observance on Monday, May 26th at a ceremony in Memorial Park in downtown Pasadena.

The observance will begin at 11:00 am and feature a moving ceremony culminating in the unveiling of five "Gold Star" banners by our local Sea Cadets honoring the lives of the soldiers and Marines from Pasadena who have lost their lives in the war in Iraq.

Keynote speaker will be former Police Chief and Interim City Manager Bernard Melekian.

The ceremony will also feature local JROTC units and echoing "taps" played by local high school
musicians.
